The REDARC BCDC1225D In-vehicle Battery Charger represents the latest evolution in REDARC's DC to DC charging technology, offering advanced features that position it as the premier dual battery charger on the market.
Equipped with a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar regulator, the BCDC1225D can simultaneously charge from both solar panels and the alternator. Its built-in 'Green Power Priority' feature prioritizes solar charging, reducing the load on the alternator.
Compatible with both 12 and 24-volt vehicle systems, this unit is designed to work with standard as well as variable/smart alternators.
The BCDC1225D retains the patented charging profiles of its predecessor and introduces a new lithium charging profile, making it ideal for charging AGM, Gel, Standard Lead Acid, Calcium, and LiFePO4 batteries.

For most applications, the BCDC1225D is suitable for battery bank sizes of 75-200AH.

For higher capacity needs of over 200AH, REDARC recommends the BCDC1240D.
