The HA-150 was designed to support volunteers who face restrictions on using sirens in their personally owned vehicles (POVs) while responding to emergencies. In areas where full sirens are not permitted, the absence of a clear audible warning can make it difficult to alert other drivers and navigate through traffic safely. The HA-150 solves this issue by offering a “horn-only” mode—without traditional siren tones—making it legally acceptable in most states. Even so, users are encouraged to review local and state vehicle codes to confirm compliance with applicable horn use regulations.

Operation is simple and flexible: the HA-150 can be triggered through the vehicle’s existing horn switch or with an independent button or toggle. When used alongside the Carson SP-200 Switch Panel and CSP-100B 100-watt speaker, it forms a complete horn system—offering light control functionality and the option to alternate between the standard horn and the louder, attention-grabbing “stutter” air horn.
