Work vehicles that operate in live traffic, high risk work sites and hazardous zones may utilise secondary warning products to compliment it's original primary roof mounted warning light so that it can meet the minimum requirements set out by the RMS in relation to safety and visibility.
As a roof mounted primary warning light can at times be obstructed from a full 360 degree view, additional secondary warning products such as L.E.D. Perimeter Lights, L.E.D. Dash Deck Lights, Police Sirens, Loud Speakers and Traffic Advisory Displays are often fitted to a vehicle in order for it to achieve an adequate safety warning capability from a distance of no less than 200 meters during both day and low light conditions.
